Independent thinker, young medical retiree after successful career as Special Ed teacher (English and Community Work concentrations) followed by years long work for the U.S. Government, where I unfortunately suffered a nasty accident in 1990. After a 20+ year period of recovery and compensation -- forcing medical disability and Federal employee's retirement -- lifeflow is changed, but still life! Have carved out livable circumstance in suburban MD, having created a social network that is fully supportive...if different. Living is full and good, with friends and family and support.
