So here I sit, it is Saturday, it is gloomy outside. I am bored out of my mind switching between Netflix games. It is November 8th, and my birthday is on the 9th, tomorrow. I am 40, turning 41. So about me. Physically, I 6' tall, I bounce between 200 and 220 pounds at any given time. I used to be well over 375 but lost weight due to medical issues. I have brown hair which I keep either shaved or trimmed short. If I shave, no one can see my silver dollar sized bald spot, guess i have my parents to thank for that. I wear glasses, but am soon going to have cataract surgery so I may not need them anymore, but we will see. I have blue/hazel eyes that I am told are quite beautiful. Three tattoos, one of my birth sign *Scorpio*, the other two are chef related, as well I am a Chef. No piercings, and my tattoos can not be seen if I am wearing a t-shirt. I recently quit smoking but due to stress, I find myself craving a cigarette or a vapor, but my plans is to be 100% off of all nicotine as soon as the stress levels are down. I work doing freelance catering and consulting in Dallas as well as attend college to finish a degree so I can get into teaching. Gone are the days of standing in kitchens for extended periods of time cooking and prepping food. I have some medical issues now that have put a stop to that, but my brain still works and I want to get into teaching culinary arts or do consulting work full time. I have moderate feeling loss in my legs due to diabetes as well as some GI issues, but both are under control and being taken care of via a team of doctors around Dallas. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, going to concerts, or just enjoying the silence. I love it when it is rainy out, loathe the sun and heat of Texas, but manage with a strong dose of AC, I love snow and grew up in Jackson Wyoming and St.Louis Missouri so I am used to seeing and driving in snow when it is on the ground. Being a Chef, I enjoy nights out at a restaurant where dinners take on a more cozy feeling over rushing in, eating and rushing out. I cherish conversation and getting to know how someone is doing throughout their day, or at weeks end. I admit, I am not a full blown texter, but I am working on that. I live in an apartment in North Dallas with my dog. She is a 3 year old, salt and pepper mini schnauzer named Cleo. Cute as a dickens and she knows it. I enjoy seeing them and getting to do things with and for them. While in my personal life I am rather antisocial, I can be a perfect gentleman when it comes to being around friends and family members of my own or the person I am dating. My dreams at my ripe age of 40 are to settle down and enjoy life with someone who I can not stand to be without. I like to kiss, cuddle, hold hands, show affection in public, and more. While I enjoy my free time, I feel that any real long term relationship has to be a balance of time together and time alone. I have my likes and dislikes as I am sure the person I seek does, finding a equal balance of each others tastes is key as well as open communication. While I was raised to appreciate all different kinds of food, and being a Chef has given me a wide range of likes and dislikes, I seek someone who can keep an open mind when it comes to the foods we eat. If you are more likely to eat out of a fast food restaurant over having a home cooked meal, you are not the person for me. I have to keep to a very specific diabetic diet, but there is room to vary here as well. Everyone has cravings and we all know that they have to be taken care of from time to time. I am not a religious person. I was raised Jewish, attending Hebrew school and going to temple, but as of late, I am not a very religious person. I can not even begin to tell you the last time I was in Temple, or cracked a Torah. I am not against religion, but I am not going out of my way to attend Temple or Church on any given day of the week. The person I choose to be with can be any denomination and does not have to be Jewish. I do not really care about this, but have to make it said that I am not a die hard or even close to anything when it comes to worshiping god. He is up there in Heaven sitting in a big easy chair drinking his Martini, Jesus, Moses and the others are around him, there is no Hell as it was not in the old testament and so on. I have on occasion attended the Opera, Symphony, or Concerts. Please be open to these forms of entertainment. Sexually, because it is on a lot of peoples minds as it is mine is very open. I am into about anything a person can think of minus the usual HARD limits *no , no animals, no perm marks, no blood letting*, other than that, I feel that there should be a great deal of communication without shyness when it comes to things sexual in nature. My Ideal Person I listed all who I want to meet as first and foremost I am looking for friends. I like to go out to eat, cook at home, go to the park, or to anything cultural. I tend to stay away from places that children are present. Not to say I dont like kids, I just dont like the ones where the parents let them do whatever they want.
