My circle of friends beyond this site is both large and small simultaneously. Choosing to drink only during certain occasions and with select people closed a lot of doors while allowing others to open that had been previously closed. As is the case with the majority of us imperfect souls, I havea past that reflects imperfect decisions. I would change many of those decisions for the sake of others who may have been negatively affected, but only if the end result would land me at or near exactly where i am currently. Inflection guides my perspectives of life. I am turned off when hypocrisy on any level is detected. Be real. Be honest. Allow yourself a little room for empathy. The same per you distance yourself from may return to haunt you when the per you see in the mirror becomes that very per you once despised.
