Though aware - without access to understanding and terminology in the 1950's, and 60's - from an early age of a desire to actually be female, I stumbled through high school, college, and a twenty-two year career in the army infantry complete with combat experience and later instructor status as an ostensibly, effectively heterosexual male. Retirement has offered increased opportunity for female experience, apparently promoting increased desire. Though admittedly of somewhat advanced years, I remain athletically active, trim, and am of excellent health. I have embraced, both as male and female, grey hair and conservative dress that is, it is my hope, stylishly consistent with maturity.
