Now wearing a thumb splint and going to OT twice weekly to regain mobility and decrease swelling in my thumb. At least I can drive again! Speaking of driving, just ordered a Lexus (blue mica)

Still recuperating from the very painful surgery on my thumb. They removed the 3 inch long pin on Friday and it hurt like hell. You all may have heard me scream..... Now in a cast for two more weeks...No driving permitted......So bored.....

Finally able to schedule a COVID vaccine since I am risk as a Cancer survivor. Have an appointment a local hospital on Feb. 19th.

My surgery date has been re-scheduled from Jan. 28 to Feb. 2nd.....Spoke with the anesthesiologist who told they will put the nerve block by my neck to numb my entire arm. They can't do it after asleep since I have to give feedback about my being totally numb......The whole thing scares and the block sounds awfully painful....As anyone ever experienced a block like this?

I fell and have to have hand surgery on Jan. 28. So I will most likely not be on the site the week after that. I hear that I will be in a world of pain and the pain reliever will apparently make me drowsy.

I plan get it but worried it will hurt badly and I know that the. news reports that we will have a very painful arm the next day and feel like we have the flu...Feeling reluctant.....What do you all say?
