When I was growing up...being gay was not easy. I was treated differently! I got beated up by my older brother and including my uncle!Because they want me to be like them a "Real Man!" It was not good memories when I was growing up....I have bullied at school and public places, because I walked too feminine...
My Grandmother, Aunts and older cousins taught me how to cook and how to wash clothes by hands (Old School). I have learned so much from them....and one of my older cousins, started putting me some make up on (Should I blamed it to her that I am TG now? LO Oh well, I had some bad memories but also a good one's!
My Dad, died.. when I was 5 years old!( He will probably have beat me up too, if he sees me the way I act! ha ha ha) My Mom went to overseas,
to worked as a House Maid and to be a Baby sitter! My Mother have to sacrificed to be away with her ...She have to leave me by the age of 4 years old....So, my Grand Mother has to raised me.
When I was going to high school..they had an Event for Boys who will dress like a girl( Miss Barbie at that time)! And my classmates picked me to join to that contest! To tell you what, when I was in that stage...My Grand Mother was there and watching me...and she was very supportive! As I remember, she was very happy, the way she smiled at me that moment! I so miss my Grand Mother. She have taught me to be strong and she have never against for being me! She was too cool! May she rest in Peace!
I have learned so much.....when I was growing up! I learned how to survived..When I finish High School! I started working, at the Beauty Salon, My Gay friends taught me how to cut hair, do make up etc....My Gay friends and TG friends were awesome! The support I was getting there was quite overwhelmed! Which is supposed to be...
Then my Mom told me she is sending me back to College, so I went and I have to stopped! I did finish my degree in Dental Hygiene! Being a Transgender and being Educated is something you have to be proud of! I achieved some of my goals in my LIFE!
And, Well My Mom found her soul mate in the USA...My Loving Step Dad( who is also gone) He was a Father figure! I treated him like my dad when I was in 5th grade....He was wonderful! He didn't have problem being me as Transgender! He was open minded! That's why I am here in the US! I am very thankful with my parents, who brought me here....and given me chance to explore my Life!
I am now...more motivated and goal oriented! I have been thru a lot! But Life is Beautiful....stay positive so you can overcome the trials you may have! To all LGBT and straight.....Life must go on, never lose your faith or hope! Have a wonderful day I hope you do like my simple story of me.....bye for now!

Is there's any real men on here, or just a guy wanting sex! Oh, well can't blame the site is a "Sex Site" lol haha! Anyway, I was kinda, seeing a guy that I met from here! And I was seeing him for a year! But it didn't went to a serious relationship! I thought, I was dating this person but technically it wasn't! So, I keep asking him, what am I to him! And he said, I am only his girlfriend, when I am with him! I am very glad, I found those thinngs! And I am glad, I asked and he answered those questions! Now, I can breath now and move on to my life! So, I wonder guys, If I can find on here a " A real relationship", Not just "Sexual Relationship". But the person, I met wasn't that a bad person! We are not just compatible to each other and he told me I am immature! Maybe, I am that way.....and I will be honest and I am not going to hide it( he is 12 years older than me). First of all! Do we all know how to appreciate small things and appreciating other people. Are we all thankful, for what we have so far. Myself grew up from poor family. And I do know what life is..My Mother have to work abroad just to support us. And work as Domestic Helper, she became a Maid and baby sitter. But she wasn't making enough money. So I grew up with my Loving Grand Mother. I reall love my Grand Mother especially my Mom. I really do appreciate them for what they did. And I will appreciate them forever. I have learned a lot of things in this world and Im still learning more. Some people may here just want to judge and telling you what to do with your life. And for me I just want to find someone who can really appreciate me. Inside and out. All I want someone who really cares for me. Im not looking for rich guys. Im looking for who can be truly person. And I will appreciate them with that. It's not how much we make and how we pretend to be. Is how we appreciate ourselves and be happy for it. I have chosen wrong freinds and they are telling me bad things about me. How would you appreciate someone like that. We do need to be thankful for what we have and not to be thinking too much material things. I do appreciate what I have so far! All I want for my life, is simple, having a simple house. I did not intend to be "Rich" but I intend to be financially stable and happy about my life. Life is too short and learn how to appreciate small things in this world. I claim myself as an "Indepedant",not a Republican neither a Democrat. Since politics is kinda complicated. I do like to listen with both sides.As a Republican, they protect the war. Which is important to protect this country. Especially, with "Terrorism", as we always need our high security in this country. But I do like Democrat as well in some ways. Since they protect the "New Gender " which is GLBT(Gay, lesbian, bisexual and Transgender.)I was born raised in the Philippines, but Philippines Politics is way too dirty. That may include corruptions most likely and some killing fellow candidates.Not only in the Philippines this happens with another country as well. We will always, have Politics and we will always have someone to run this country. And so with other countries as well. We tried to listen and trying to obey those laws. But Politics is quite complicated for me.(LOI dont know why, im writing this about my blog( haha)Simple but my head is not working well right now. Maybe I can discussed more about Politics. I am person, who claim myself as "Imperfect".Cause in this world we are created not to be "perfect".Some of us can be diffrent not as perfect as we want to be.I do beleive being perfect is not very important.I think we can make ourselves in a diffrent ways.I am what I am and love me the way I am.Cause I will always be me as "leah" you have known from the beginning.If I changes then you'll know the reasons!But there is no one's to blame, cause as I said nobodies "Perfect".Everyone can make a mistakes but we have to take those consequences.Sometime we can do mistakes from someone that's quite complicated.I was created to be simple and live the way I am. My own lifestyle and live the way I am at the present.And I do like being me as a "Transexual".I have to accept the way I am cause I wasn't born as a "Woman".But I wish I was a real woman so I dont have to struggle being TS.It's kinda hard as well when your "Transexual".Some people may think your a freak or something else.It does hurt me when people think that way.We all live in thise world and can be treated diffrently.But you know we are not "Perfect" but I love the way I am now and I will try survive in this world until Im alive.All I can say "Be yourself" and never let people get into you.Never let them to let you down cause you do know better and you can do it for the better.Thanks I hope you did like my simple blog xoxo Leah

Me, myself and I practice safe sex.Safe sex is a must on this world.How many people, who has been infected by HIV? It's a lot and some of them is not thier choice.When you had sex with someone that you really dont know.And never used any protection it's you own choice.But sometime when your in high in "drugs" or too "drunk".Those people can be higher risk to get STD. AIDS was first identified in the USA in 1981. The epidemic has now spread to every part of the USA and to all sectors of society.
It is thought that more than one million people are living with HIV in the USA and that more than half a million have died after developing AIDS.
American HIV surveillance data are not comprehensive so many statistics must be based on reports of AIDS diagnoses. In interpreting such AIDS statistics, it is important to remember that they do not correspond to new HIV infections. Most people live with HIV for several years before developing AIDS
AIDS diagnoses and deaths
In June 1981, the first cases of what is now known as AIDS were reported in the USA. During the 1980s, there were rapid increases in the number of AIDS cases and deaths of people with AIDS. Cases peaked with the 1993 expansion of the case definition3, and then declined. The most dramatic drops in both cases and deaths began in 1996, with the widespread use of combination antiretroviral therapy.
The rate of decrease in AIDS diagnoses slowed in the late 1990s. After reaching a plateau, the estimated number of diagnoses increased slightly each year from 2001 to 2005, reaching 45,669 in the last year. In total, an estimated 988,376 people have been diagnosed with AIDS.
The number of deaths among people with AIDS has remained relatively stable since 1999; there were an estimated 17,011 deaths in 2005. Since the beginning of the epidemic, an estimated 550,394 people with AIDS have died in the USA.
Who is affected by AIDS?
During the 1990s, the epidemic shifted steadily toward a growing proportion of AIDS cases among black people and Hispanics and in women, and toward a decreasing proportion in MSM, although this group remains the largest single exposure group. Black people and Hispanics have been disproportionately affected since the early years of the epidemic. In absolute numbers, blacks have outnumbered whites in new AIDS diagnoses and deaths since 1996, and in the number of people living with AIDS since 1998.
From 2000 to 2005, the estimated number of new AIDS cases increased in all racial/ethnic groups. Over the same period, the estimated number of new AIDS diagnoses increased by 17% among women and by 16% among men. The number of new cases probably due to heterosexual contact grew by 42%; cases probably due to sex between men grew by 24%; and the number among injecting drug users fell by less than 1%.
During 2005 there were an estimated 58 paediatric AIDS diagnoses, compared to 187 in 1999 and 799 in 1994. The decline in paediatric AIDS incidence is associated with more HIV testing of pregnant women and the use of zidovudine (AZT) by HIV-infected pregnant women and their newborn infants.
The age group 35-44 years accounted for 38% of all AIDS cases diagnosed in 2005. Nearly three-quarters of all people who have died with AIDS did not live to the age of 45HIV statistics
At the end of 2005, the CDC estimates that there were 476,749 people living with HIV/AIDS in the 37 areas that have a history of confidential name-based HIV reporting, based on reported diagnoses and deaths4. However, the total number of people living in the USA with HIV/AIDS is thought to be between 1,039,000 and 1,185,0005. The discrepancy between these figures is due to several factors including:
confidential name-based reporting of HIV diagnoses has not yet been implemented in all states6
anonymous tests, including home tests, are excluded from case reports
one in every four people living with HIV has not even had their infection diagnosed, let alone reported.7
During 2005, an estimated 38,133 new diagnoses of HIV infection were reported from the 37 areas with a history of confidential name-based reporting, a number that has remained relatively stable since 2001. Of these cases, 74% were among adult or adolescent males, 26% were among adult or adolescent females, and less than 1% were among under 13 years of age. Recent HIV reports represent a mixture of people with recent infection and others who may have been infected in the past but are only now being diagnosed.
Interpreting HIV & AIDS statistics for the USA
In order to monitor the spread of the American epidemic and to assess the need for services and resources, there is a need for accurate surveillance. In the USA, statistics on both HIV and AIDS are collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and published in an annual report. The latest report was published in November 2006, and contains data up to the end of 2005.
The CDC surveillance report includes data on the number of people diagnosed with AIDS, the number living with AIDS and the number of people with AIDS who have died. Such AIDS statistics include not only the 50 states and the District of Columbia but also Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Pacific Islands and the US Virgin Islands. However, around 97.5% of the total number of people living with AIDS reside within the 50 states or the District of Columbia.
In recent years, the use of antiretroviral therapy has slowed the progression of HIV in many infected persons and hence contributed to a decline in AIDS incidence. This means that AIDS surveillance data are less able to represent trends in the incidence of HIV infection or the impact of the epidemic on the health-care system. In response, more states are now implementing HIV case reporting. This enables state and local areas to better estimate the size of the population living with HIV/AIDS and to predict the services and resources needed.
The CDC reports HIV diagnoses and the number of people living with HIV, using only data collected through confidential name-based reporting. By the end of 2005, confidential name-based reporting of adult and HIV cases had been implemented by 38 states plus Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands and the US Virgin Islands. Of these 43 areas, only 37 have been reporting since at least 2001.
Estimates and reporting delays
There is often a delay between the time of diagnosis of HIV or AIDS, or the time of death, and the time at which the event is reported. Moreover, this delay may differ among different categories of people. For this reason the CDC estimates the number of diagnoses, deaths and people living with HIV or AIDS by adjusting for reporting delays, taking into account the differences between categories. The CDC also redistributes cases into exposure categories if none was initially reported. No adjustment is made for incomplete reporting. On this page, all numbers are CDC estimates unless stated otherwise
