James Carville is a Democrat supporter and strategist. He was big with Bill Clinton.

He likes to upset GOP lovers. His latest attack is to suggest that Trump will resign and give up on the 2020 race rather than lose 40 plus states in November. It is too late to resign as the ballot deadlines are past in most places. But it would be a funny moment in the drama of this weird year.

Trump could die, but otherwise he is going to be on the ballot. At this point even a dead Trump would get his supporters votes. Only 30% or so are that crazy. Once the ballots are printed even dead men can win the vote, but cannot serve....

As if you needed another reason vote against Trump in November!

Trump asked the U.S. ambassador the U.K. try get the British Open golf tourney to be moved to his Turnberry golf course in Scotland. That was nixed as a conflict of interest and corrupt. Trump denies it, of course, but many heard the request at the time.

Using public office for private benefits to the official is fraud and bribery. Much like the Ukraine blackmail for military aid that got Trump impeached.

Some normal sized woman consider whether get implants for bigger boobs.

That is a personal choice. From my view point avoiding extra surgery is a good thing. The implants cost money not covered by most insurance unless after a mastectomy. What could go wrong? Every surgery has some risk of an adverse outcome, like death...

There are also complications like scarring or loss of sensation.

Smaller boobs sag less and look younger too.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it...

About 90% of those with bad cases are over 60 years old, and overweight with some prior health issues. So the risky should stay home while others can work with masks on in public areas. We need decrease the rate of infection and keep the economy moving.

A new worry is trashing the markets. Will the GOP Senate allow the $600 weekly additional unemployment checks stop at the end of July? The House passed the continuation plan two months ago. The Senate has done nothing.

The House will not give employers blanket Covid 19 immunity. Nor will the House agree more tax cuts.

The money for the unemployed is a big deal now. The GOP will get the Herbert Hoover treatment and deservedly so if the checks stop and a Depression begins.

Biden is now going to get the FDR treatment and the electoral landslide if the GOP keeps repeating the mistakes of 1932.

We will see if the GOP knows anything about U.S. history.

I had a partner for various activities including sex until recently. She decided it was not worthwhile for her anymore! There was a health problem as well as her menopause was causing problems.

I try not feel rejected, despite the fact that I am rejected. In this case it really is her and not me.

Maybe it is a male and female thing. Most men I know do not willingly give sex. But I know a number of women who just decided sex is more trouble than it is worth!

Reminds me of the punchline of an old joke: Enough is enough. Such is life.

The White House has done opposition research on Dr. Fauci! Pretty much unheard of in the history of the U.S. To make political points and try to discredit a leading public health expert in the middle of a pandemic that has killed more than 136,000 Americans so far.

Of course Dr. Fauci made mistakes early on when not much was known about Covid 19. But fewer mistakes than Trump who said the virus would magically disappear in April 2020. It is still here killing Americans. Trump was wrong in so many ways. The masks are the best we have to slow the spread of the virus. So dumb bunny Trump makes a macho statement against mask wearing! Idiot!

Taiwan did everything right and has few cases and few dead. We did lots wrong and lead the world in cases and deaths. Trump deserves to lose in November for being so inept and foolish. It is the economy and pandemic that we judge Trump a total loser.

Joe Biden has made mistakes, but he reads, is smart enough to admit he is not God, and is a decent person with empathy. Lets go with Joe!

Trump audit excuse blown by Rudy

Donald Trump has been saying since his 20 campaign that he would love release his tax returns the public ― as candidates and presidents do — but he’s being audited by the IRS.

His personal attorney Rudy Giuliani blew that excuse out of the water Sunday when he revealed the audits have been completed.

“ these tax returns have been by and large — maybe not the last one — but all of them have been audited, all of them have either been passed or settled,” Giuliani told Maria Bartiromo Fox News. “There should be some finality in tax returns,” Giuliani added. “We get audited, we make a deal, we and the government, you don’t come after me forever for that.”

The US Supreme Court also said by 7 to 2 Trump cannot withhold the returns from the New York DA and grand jury.

The Teflon Don is finally being shown for the clown and charlatan he has been.

Joe Biden is killing Trump in all the polls. The inept fool in the White House is dazed and confused. He is a loser.

No one has come back from such a deep hole so close the November election. Even the GOP rats in Congress are starting leave the sinking ship.

Still many snake bit voters fear the Trumpster. Once bitten, twice shy.

Trump is toast. The economy sucks. Another 100,000 dead Americans from Covid 19 will spur the electorate to vote out Trump. We will be free of this ass soon.

Trump claims he is going rewrite the immigration laws by executive order. Not allowed! If he wants help the Dreamers he should propose legislation not an executive order. The Supreme Court will not allow an executive order that is flatly opposed by a law. So the act is just theater for political effect.

Not nice games with people's lives.

U.S. notice to withdraw from WHO

Another reason vote for Biden in November:

The Trump administration has formally notified the United Nations that the United States is withdrawing from the World Health Organization, officials said Tuesday, cutting off one of the organization’s biggest sources of aid amid a pandemic that has infected more than .6 million people, killed more than a half a million, and upended life around the world.

“The United States’ notice of withdrawal, effective July 6, 2021, has been submitted the U.N. secretary general, who is the depository for the W.H.O.,” said a senior administration official.

By law, the United States must give the organization a year’s notice if it intends to withdraw, and meet all the current financial obligations in the current year.

Mr. Trump, whose response to the pandemic has drawn criticism, first announced that he planned to halt funding to the W.H.O. in April, claiming that the organization had made a series of mistakes as it battled the coronavirus.

His move to withdraw drew immediate criticism. Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, a Republican who is the chairman of the Senate’s health committee, said that he disagreed with the president’s decision.

“Withdrawing U.S. membership could, among other things, interfere with clinical trials that are essential to the development of vaccines, which citizens of the United States as well as others in the world need,” he said in a statement. “And withdrawing could make it harder to work with other countries to stop viruses before they get to the United States.”

The nation cannot withdraw until next year, after the presidential election. Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., the presumptive Democratic nominee, said on Twitter that he would rejoin the W.H.O. “on my first day as President.”

The president of the United Nations Foundation, Elizabeth Cousens, said in a statement that the administration’s “move to formally withdraw from the W.H.O. amid the greatest public health crisis that Americans and the world have faced in a century is shortsighted, unnecessary, and unequivocally dangerous.”

I am almost done with the first season of TrueBlood. This sexy violent HBO series stars Anna Pacquin and ran for 8 or 9 seasons from 2004. I missed it then but with time at home spend I am binge viewing this guilty pleasure. Try it if you have not known its bloody depraved style.

Covid 19 again

I am bored with the virus. Not happy social distance, but it seems necessary.

Recent estimates are that less than 1 percent die from the virus as many more are not counted in the limited testing. Still one percent of 7 billion people in this world is a large number. Winter is coming soon and that may be a bad time get sick.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released data suggesting that for every documented infection in the United States, there were 10 other cases on average that had gone unrecorded, probably because they were very mild or asymptomatic. If there are many more asymptomatic infections than once thought, then the virus may be less deadly than it has appeared.

On Thursday, after the World Health Organization held a two-day online meeting of 1,300 scientists from around the world, the agency’s chief scientist, Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, said the consensus for now was that the I.F.R. is about 0.6 percent — which means that the risk of death is less than 1 percent.
0.6 percent of the world’s population is 47 million people, and 0.6 percent of the American population is 2 million people. The virus remains a major threat.

According to data gathered by The New York Times, China had reported 90,294 cases as of Friday and 4,634 deaths, which is a C.F.R. of 5 percent. The United States was very close to that mark. It has had 2,811,447 cases and 9,403 deaths, about 4.6 percent. Those percentages are far higher rates than the 2.5 percent death rate often ascribed the 1918 flu pandemic.

New evidence that people with Type A blood are more likely fall deathly ill could change risk calculations.

Those researchers looked at 267 studies in more than a dozen countries, and then chose the 25 they considered the most accur weighting them for accuracy and averaged the data. They concluded that the global I.F.R. was 0.64 percent. arrive at the C.D.C.’s new estim researchers tested samples from 11,933 people for antibodies the coronavirus in regions in the United States. New York City reported 53,803 cases by April 1, but the actual number of infections was times higher — nearly 642,000, the agency estimated.

In each of the eight influenza pandemics the United States since 63, a relatively mild first wave — no matter what time of year it arrived — was followed by a larger, much more lethal wave a few months later, noted Michael T. Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.

More than a third of the people killed by the Spanish flu, which lasted from March 1918 late 1920, died in the short stretch between September and December 1918 — about months after a first, relatively mild version of what may have been the same virus broke out in western Kansas.

People are tired of the restrictions, but infections may get much worse as the weather gets cold and people spend more time indoors in close proximity.
