If it's not a sports bar then I'd wait 15 minutes unless a text arrived indicating they would be late. I was stood up waiting for a woman at a sports bar last spring, so I ordered a beer and watched the football game on the TV. Why waste a good environment! It turns out that it was a scam trying to get me to send money. I told them they sucked at it and suggested I could tell them where they went wrong if they sent me $500. They didn't take it well

An hour at the most, and yes, I do grab a brew if I windup waiting, If I don't hear anything by 30 minutes or so, I turn off most of the lights, grab another brew and try to remain calm/unworried, yet somewhat hopeful.

30-60 minutes depending on location, distance, etc. After that and w/o the courtesy of a call and/or acceptable explanation, don't bother calling Guess it goes for both sides of the isle

Wow he definitely shouldn't have been driving and he'd have likely had whisky dick anyway lol. Half hour I'd wait with a no show, but if you let me know before the meet time going to be late then I'll wait longer but if she misses the 2nd time I'm gone. It would take a really good excuse for me to agree to meet again ( mom in hospital, I got a speeding ticket if they show proof lol, car broke down, etc)

I would've had a phone conversation with them prior to meeting.If they weren't adult enough to do that. They wouldn't be anyone I'd be interested in. The face hiding game is juvenile enough. And yes the game players have soured it for a lot of decent people! Using more than all the road!

I would only wait 15-20 minutes. If he texted me and said he was running late, I might wait a few more minutes.

In my area it takes 1 hr to get anywhere. If you leave too soon, then you could miss other opportunities. Give yourself time to enjoy the moment.

When I set up a meeting with anyone, I always tell them I will be there on time and I will wait 1 hour and if they don't show, I will leave. This has happened to me a few times where they never showed. I have also been waiting and had the other person text me saying they were running late and waited longer just because they let me know. They were worth the wait.

I checked 1/2 hour, but that is even too long. Texting is immediate. No excuses not to use it. Have a great day, and be nice to one another.

I've been stood up or canceled on more times than I care to remember. It's part of the game for some people ... they never intend to meet in the first place but string you along, or their significant other suddenly interrupted their plans when they thought they could sneak out ... you figure out all the excuses after not-too-long on a site such as AgoraCosmopolitan Dating. Now, I never drive out of my way to meet anyone, and agree to meet only if it's convenient for me. Even then, it's only for coffee or a drink, so there's not a lot of time invested. The players have soured it for a lot of us... Yep, it's my blog, and the content is not up for a vote or for manipulation. If you don't like the content, just stop reading. Easy peasey.
