So the leader of the Philippines is saying "Goodbye" to the US? He said that they don't need American money. I didn't even read the article because it's complete bullshit.
This fucktard is wrong! They do need American money, hence the call center scams. The Philippines and India are the two biggest culprits of call center scams. Or maybe, just maybe, those slave that make cheap clothes and toys for the US consumer to buy are paying off?
Let this fucktard remember that they don't need our money when either China or North Korea start infecting everything again. And when they ask for our help again, we can just say, " No, you don't need our money, REMEMBER FUCKTARD"!
We need to start letting other countries fail and then remind them what it means to maintain diplomatic relations with the US. We can be your best friend or your worst nightmare and we never have to actually deploy any troops.
Of course, China is probably going to kill themselves off with the amount of pollution they produce. Or they are going to have a tremendous increase in birth defects from breathing in all that poison. Either way it looks like they may do themselves in.
Then there is North Korea with their "Supreme Leader" who doesn't pee and poop. So he just gets fatter and fatter. Probably blow a gasket one day and kill off his whole country. It will look like the Mule from the movie Ridiculous Six shitting toxic chocolate milk everywhere!

So much family drama! And of course, right before Christmas which makes it even more dramatic. I have a feeling there is going to be a big verbal fight like there was last year. Only this time, I won't be physically throwing anybody off my property. I hurt my thumb last year and I'm not getting any younger. I would like to keep everything intact and pain free.
See, this is why I have a buffer zone. I live about 2 hrs away and no one can come to my house and harass me. I keep trying to explain this to my mother and that it is necessary for my sanity. I told her she is welcome to come and live with me, but then no one else is allowed in the house. The rest of the ingrates can stay right where they are; 2 hours away!

Everyone knows about bait and switch tactics that sales people use. They advertise something without telling you the whole truth. Then when you approach about the item or service you find out it is not as they advertised and then they try to sell you something else.
So basically, they lie to get your attention and then hope that you won't see it as lying and still purchase something from them.
I've never had an employer do this, but I guess there is a first time for everything. So I applied for a job 2wks ago for a security company. The advertisement was for a position that paid $14.40/hr. That is actually a decent pay rate for security because most of the time the pay is $8-10/hr. I get a call from a recruiter and he seemed hesitant when I told him I lived about an hour from the job site. But for me the pay is good and there would be benefits, so I'm okay with driving an hour. We scheduled the interview. That was today and boy was I bamboozled! I get there and I realize it is not a formal interview, but more like a session to fill out paperwork. There were others in the room like me. The recruiter takes myself and another into his office and looks at the paperwork and then tells us these are the days and times available. Pick what works for you. Hey and by the way, the job only pays $11.50/hr. WTF? I continued to listen to his bullshit and then he said this is when orientation is.
I'm not fucking going to this orientation and I'm not completing any more paperwork AND I'm not taking the security freeze off my credit report for this company. Now I get why they advertised such a high rate of pay...gets people in the door. his selling of the job was complete bullshit. I bet the others are going to take the jobs they applied for. Such a crock of shit!
I wasted 3 hrs on these clowns today. Between driving there and back and sitting in that fucking room with some Arab guy that needed a damn translator.

The other day a news story here from good ole Pennsyltucky is making nationwide headlines. I am referring to the story about a man named Michael Stuban. He worked at the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission for 35 years. He was sent, by email, an exit interview form from HR. He filled it out and then just minutes before his last day ended, he sent the form with his comments to 2,000 of his fellow employees.
Needless to say, the comments were a scathing review of the Commonwealth and its hiring practices, management, and day to day operations. I believe he is lucky he did this right before he left. One of the Administrators said that after reading the comments that Stuban submitted on the form, "he was glad that he never had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Stuban."
My last job saw something like this happen. An employee who was actually very well liked by administration said they were disappointed in the frankness of an email sent by the employee on his last day of work. He sent the email to every single county employee. There was absolutely nothing inappropriate or unprofessional about the email. It only highlighted the shortcomings of the administration and their policies. The very reason this employee gave his notice and accepted another job elsewhere.
Then, less than a year later, another employee sent an email to just employees he worked with over the years. His email praised them for their dedication and hard work. He also thanked everybody for teaching him things he didn't know and wished everyone well. He had given a two week notice, but sent the email one week before his notice was up. They fired him! he had kept a copy of the email and took it straight to HR and HR agreed that he should not have been fired because he had not violated any county policy. The union fought for him and had the firing removed from his file. But come on guys, do you think they really did that? Who's going to know for sure?
Although nothing with the emails of both of my former coworkers was wrong, I still don't find it necessary to send these emails out to the employees. If you really want to get your point across, you could just talk to them or text them, maybe even send an email to their personal account. This is not the intended purpose for work email.
After the second incident with work emails, the employer decided that when an employee gives notice, all access to the county system is revoked immediately.
I guess the administration doesn't want people to be able to do their jobs. Just be a lame duck!

The other day I ranted about ungrateful people that I have the misfortune of sharing DNA with. I used to agonize over picking out a gift for them and knit them something nice for their home or personal use. Never again! After my rant, I gathered up everything I have knitted this year and put it in a bag for . In my area there is a Community Store that is managed by a council of churches. I have donated a lot of stuff to them over the past 6 years.
So today i will be dropping off my bag of stuff that includes two throws, a few dish cloths, scarfs, and some fancy fingerless gloves. Yarn isn't cheap anymore. That is my good deed for this month.
Fuck these ungrateful people.

I was just reading about the speech Madonna gave when she received the 'Woman of the year' award from Billboard. She hit the nail on the head and was not kind to the verbally abusive, misogynistic, cretins she has had to deal with since 1979. I can't say that I agree with everything she has done or said, but she has the right to think and feel how she chooses. But again, this is a man's world and we are supposed to be lucky he let's us women live in it. 
I can understand everything she went through and still goes through. For some reason people are still threatened and offended by her. It's not like she kidnapped a , molested a , extorted money from anyone, defrauded seniors of their social security checks. She didn't vote to send all our jobs to other countries, post fake news on Facebook, didn't drive drunk and kill your loved ones.
She is a smart woman who dared to go against the status quo and show all of you how insecure you really are about who you are as a person. She conjured up everything that you feared and didn't want to face in yourself. The thing that really pisses people off is that she made half a billion dollars making you look stupid and insecure.
So when is society going to come out of the cave? Or at the least close the fucking thing off and let the misogynists and cretins die.

I often wonder if Millennials listen to the music from my years and think of it the same way I feel about the music from my parents years.
I'm listening to some music I downloaded. Specifically, The Grass Roots. This band is from the 60s and my dad had a few cassette tapes, not 8-tracks, yes I said cassette tapes of Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Grass Roots. I used to listen to these on our Panasonic stereo. I was about 5 years old and remember listening to this stuff over and over again. The thing is, my dad was usually on the couch trying to catch a nap. And I'm there playing the stereo. Probably annoyed the shit out of him.
Every time I hear any of the songs from these two groups I think of my dad and how I recognized that this is my first experience with rock and roll. By today's standards these groups are not hard enough to be rock music, but back then they were to me. After all I was only 5 years old.
I listen to way heavier stuff now. Most of them I don't even know their names or the titles to the songs. I usually have to go to the radio station's website to look up the songs they played that I liked in order to have titles so I can download them.
But I wonder what kind of feelings are conjured up for a Millennial when they hear something like The Clash or The Beastie Boys or anything from the 70s and 80s. I still remember the first time I heard Hotel California and thought they were actually talking about a real hotel. Chill out people, I was 8 years old. I even remember the first time I heard Stevie Nicks on the radio singing Dreams. I was waiting in the car while my mom was inside the Jamesway store. Yes, in the 70s moms left their in the car all by themselves. My mom always left the keys so I could listen to the radio.
Then I wonder what my nephews, who are 10 and 11, will think of the music I used to listen to when they are my age. Can I see myself in the nursing home asking the CNA to play some Five Finger Death Punch, Volbeat, or even Metallica? Seems so fucked up.

I don't know how others feel about this, but I'm going to try and explain how I feel about this.
The Block feature on this site can be used wisely or as a game I guess. I don't like to block people, but I do feel it is necessary from time to time. I also believe that the Block feature is a different experience for women and men.
The ratio of men to women on here, as everyone knows, is extremely skewed. So women get inundated with emails, chat requests, and visitors to their profile. With that comes the gamut of personality types. For some women, their experience on here is like a dream come true and for others any given day could be a complete nightmare.
For me, I experience the nightmare more often than not. So far I have had to block 3 people. I did so because two were verbally abusive in their first message to me. The third person I blocked because he kept sending harassing messages after I told him I was not interested. And the thing with the third person is that he wasn't even messaging me because he liked my profile. He was offended and hurt by what I said in my profile so he began harassing me. I prefer to just block these types and not report them to AgoraCosmopolitan Dating Admin.
I have no idea how men handle this stuff or even if they have the same stuff to deal with that women on here deal with.
I don't think the Block feature should be used like a game or because you have a difference of opinion with someone. That said, all interactions with others should be respectful. I would add good taste, but that is like squeezing blood from a stone. Most on here have no idea what good taste is so that's a moot point.
Just use the Block feature when it is necessary and not because your little ego was hurt.

All I Want For Christmas

I would like to find someone that I can have normal conversations with. I'm sick of the unintelligent verbal abuse that goes on here and else where. Is that too much to ask? Is that one of those items that you can't find in the store because everyone wants one too? Is this like the Cabbage Patch Doll fights or the Tickle Me Elmo trend? Both were stupid and ugly and not worth any amount of money!
I suppose......well, what does it matter what I suppose. What's the point of Christmas any way. I never get what I ask for.....my family hates me and I hate them.....everyone is either scared of me, jealous of me, or just hates me.
I used to put a lot of faith in Christmas and I used to put tremendous thought and effort into each gift I gave and for what? No one cared or understood. I don't think that Christmas should be celebrated anyway. It is just another day for capitalism to ruin lives and spirit.
Pagan holidays are the only days that should truly be celebrated.
