Is Sexual Fulfilment Through Turkey and Serotonin... A Real Possibility... 😎❗

On the edge of a thick and hazy summer day, dusk had begun to cloak the auburn sky. I headed south on that six-lane boulevard and braked for the light. DÃĐjà vu brushed a nerve or two as I reached the intersection and rolled to a stop.

I couldn't help but notice, for an ordinarily busy street, it was uncommonly vacant. As I waited (out of nowhere), she pulled up beside me in her 'Town and Country' station wagon, signalled left and gently cut me off. I was relieved as she barely missed my car.

I was also intrigued to find anyone still driving a vehicle with faux wood glued to its sides. I cringed as the pretty woman with the big blond hair stubbornly persisted, inching nearer and nearer to my front bumper. I decided it was best if I got out and helped direct her. As I reached for my door handle, events unfolded in an even more peculiar manner.

My car died, and I couldn't restart it. Abandoning my ride, I stepped out and trudged over to her open window. On cue, the electricity suddenly shuddered to complete 'black'; a total planetary power failure? The blond-haired lady and I had become solitary shadow figures, framed in the faint glow of a cloudy moonlit eve. She looked at me and threw her arms up in confusion as if to say,

"What's going on here?"

I didn't have the time to reply. Brilliant coloured lights blazed in towards us - at streetlight height - then stopped and circled. Those pastel rainbow shades soothingly blinked and pulsed (just in front of us), right above that red stoplight, which had inexplicably lit up again. The blond-haired lady had already hopped out of her car.

Nuzzling her trembling body close to mine, she buried her head against my chest and stared at the dazzling lights. I put my arms under her silk hair, around her shoulders and tightly hugged her supple waist. We watched as those bright beams silently throbbed... and quivered. Our lips unwittingly touched as we both turned to each other to speak. I got the first words in.

"Damn, not this fucking alien stop light again?"

And the dream ends. I know, right? I get pissed off every time as well.

I'd love to be a part of the 'alternate ending'. There has to be a way to pump up one's serotonin levels and orchestrate your unconscious nightlife into some sort of polished symphony. Isn't there?

Serotonin is the key ingredient to making sure that you can dream. Turkey (among other foods) can covert tryptophan into serotonin.
Now what experts can't predict, is what type of dream you'll have.

I used to have these lucid dreams where I could fly. I haven't flown in decades.

Do you analyze your dreams for hidden meanings or do you just forget about them? ðŸĪ”

That dream has occurred to me more than once. It never gets past that damn red light. There's a meaning to it - or so experts say.
Watch out for aliens and blond-haired women driving station wagons? ðŸ˜ķ

I don't have an actual recurring dream but I do get a recurring theme of running from danger. I enjoy those cuz I haven't run in decades! Mostly though, I don't remember my dreams.

You should write your own, waking, dream ending.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Now here I go again
I see the crystal visions
I keep my visions to myself
It's only me who wants to wrap around your dreams
And have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Dreams of loneliness
Like a heartbeat drives you mad
In the stillness of remembering what you had
And what you lost
And what you had
Ooh, what you lost

blonde hair you say? Kinda like Stevie Nicks?

Ooo... running. True. I get the ones where I'm moving my feet as fast as they can go.... and I'm barely moving. Now THOSE are annoying.
Writing the ending? Hmmm.... Now there's a possibility. I wonder how it would wind up?
I love the unpredictability of dreams. Ya never know where they'll wind up.

Blond... Well, you know dreams. You never really get a clear picture, but sure - Steve Nicks sounds about right. I'll have to pay closer attention next time I see her.
I do have dreams of what I had and what I've lost. How did you know?

If I eat before bed, especially something with sugar, I have energetic dreams. Though they sometimes lean more towards nightmares.

Eating something... will DEFINITELY do it! There ya go. Proof that serotonin DOES work to create dreams !!!
Now if we could control them!

I dream all the time... I still have flying dreams from time to time, sometimes my dreams are a little more real than I would like. I once dreamed I was in the Hippie's father's basement and I had described it to him, laughing a little, because I'd seen all these painted things with faces on them in the ceiling beams. Then I started telling him about a sauna thing that had incorporated itself into my dream. True story, after the dream, he had shown me their actual basement. His dad had made a bunch of these little square things he called 'Time Bombs', and painted faces and stuff on them. They were like a door stop.... And they were all up in the ceiling beams of this basement, you could see them as you were walking down the stairs. They also had the sauna....

Some dreams I can remember and others I can not. I have one that has been happening over and over again. Not sure if it means anything or not. Just know I can not see his face. I hear a lot some dreams we have, there is a reason behind them. Have a great weekend

Wow about all that dreaming and wow about how it came true.
What's your trick to dreams as much as you do?
When I really want to, I get up and go to the bathroom, take a drink of water and then... when I go BACK to sleep I can remember all my dreams.
Supposedly went ALL dream every night - we were all just can't remember them. 😎

Ooo... Sounds spooky and ominous.
Are you trying to get together with someone special? ðŸĪ”
If ya want to remember your dreams, wake up an hour before you leave to. Go to the bathroom... take a drink of water... relax and go back to sleep.
Guaranteed you'll remember all your dreams for that last hour or so!

I'll take your dream over the one I had this week where I was undercover spying on a right wing extremist group. That was scary.

I used to have the flying dreams too. I miss them.

You're funny.... AND your head is probably a very interesting place to reside in.
Terrorists, right? ðŸ˜Ū Now WHAT provoked THAT trip? There was something. Perhaps a show or book you read? ðŸĪ”
I too loved those lucid flying dreams.
I've had a few where I thought it was SO real, I ACTUALLY beloved that I had learned to fly.
Oh.. FFS.
But damn it was fun.
Lucid dreams... hmmm
Have you seen the movie Inception?
It's unreal, unbelievable and totally unrealistic.. but DAMN is it interesting.
Now about those terrorists? Wtf? lol 😂 ðŸ˜Ū

Who needs a show or a book when they are ubiquitous in real life? Just today it was revealed that the FBI foiled a plot to kidnap Michigan's governor and put her "on trial".

In my dream, they were serial and I was trying to catch them. Yeah, that probably says something about where my head is at these days.

Scary stuff.
And yeah... Where is your head?
I get influenced by sleep patterns (or lack of) and what's occupying my daytime hours.
I'll have to check that news report.
It would be interesting if people could SHARE their dreams. Hmmm... A portion of science that I'm sure people are looking into.
I just saw that report on CNN. Wow!

I rarely remember my dreams. When I do, I don't see people's faces (not blank, just not defined). Often, I am lost trying to find something or get to somewhere.

Wow... There's a lot of symbolism going on in your dreams. Especially about that part where you see faces but undefined. Hmmm... Have you ever thought of analyzing them for further insight?
The best way to recall your dreams is to wake an hour before your usual time, get yourself comfortable (water, etc.) then climb back into bed and dream away.
If you try it, let me know if you recall your dreams any clearer.
Trying to find something? Aren't we all ?

i have receptive dreams with different endings. i can't force them to start. but once i am in dream state i can stop a dream. or i can force myself back to sleep to keep dreaming. some dreams i know i have to stop in the morning and write down what happened before i forgot. i don't dream of my dad as much anymore. he passed. he never speaks in my dreams. yet i know what he is saying. i hope you get to dream your dream again.

Wow... You're a professional. I too used to write my dreams down. And I used to be much more aware of what was going on while in them.
Lucid dreams are the best. I was actually convinced - a couple of times - that I had actually mastered flying.
Hmmm.. Sounds like you've given this stuff some thought.
Interesting how those who have passed, speak to us in different ways... from the OTHER side. I have an uncle who visits me from time to time. I always seem to think it's normal that he's there.

when i dream... i know i am dreaming. and i know i have had this dream before. and then it changes...

but what is harder is i have precognition. and when that happens i have no idea it is happening. and then the event happens again. and i'm really pissed off because my friends are letting me shit they already told me. i find it's a way to prepare myself for bad outcomes. twice when it happened a friend was at a crossroad on whether to get a divorce. one got a divorce and stayed friends with me. the other didn't get a divorce and stopped speaking to me.

with my dad it wasn't precognition. i could sense he was dying. so i told him i would come home from out of state. i arrived at 9pm. he died at 3am.

i don't tend to see to many movies anymore. i am the proverbial person who lives under a rock as i didn't know about this movie. it's kind of like do you wish to believe in other movie premises like the matrix.

when i had precognition i think a year passed in real time before the event happened. twice. there are a few friends i feel comfortable enough with to ask if we have gone through something before or this is new. but very few i would ask that to.

Precognition is a rare - should I call it - talent or skill?
Hmmm...
The Matrix certainly explores an interesting concept. I always respect a writer who can think so completely out of the box and come up with stuff like that. ðŸ˜ķ

Paul, you have a talent of expression you can put on a piece of paper, in other word, you write good blogs! Holloween is several week away. Wirte, better yet, create a Holloween blog, it can be scary as hell, or maybe just funny. Have a famous monster or create one. if you do, I'll like to read it. if you get into it, make it into two blogs.
