Being A Famous A F F Celebrity Blogger...ð Is Not Easy... It Is Hard... ðĪ Note : A F F is deleting words in the text. Please be patient. Being a famous - A F F Celebrity Blogger - is not easy. I'm constantly being recognized and hounded for autographs and selfies... wherever I go. Take last weekend... Now I'll admit... I don't really mind. I mean... if I can help motivate someone, to achieve their life goals, then so be it. As a role model (for some), I am always aware, of the standard I'm setting. My "dick pics" (for example) - are for Friends only! So... I sat there in the restaurant, taking tiny bites of food, wiping my mouth, quickly. I wasn't at all surprised, when THEY, approached me. Their cell phone cameras were at the ready; paper and pens in hand. I put my knife and fork down, in anticipation of the inevitable gawking. I expected their gushing requests, for proof and confirmation - of their brush, with a. r.eal, live, superstar... and famous person . Then... to my complete surprise, they walked right by, MY table and trudged quickly, to the group seated behind me. "What the fuck?"; were my first thoughts... until I turned around and realized who, was sitting behind me. He was leaning on his elbows, a mouthful of grilled salmon sticking outta his mouth. Tartar sauce clung to the edges of his lips and his fingers were smeared with butter. It was Captain Kirk -William Shatner. 'Comic-Con' was in town at the Convention Center and he was there for the festivities. Hmmm... I Waited until that silly cluster of people, had left Captain Kirk's table, before I turned back in my chair and asked him to sign my napkin. Never presume! Life will always surprise you with the unexpected. I wore my sunglasses for the balance of my meal. I hoped no one, would recognize me. No one , did. ....................................... So... Are there any valid role models, out there... these days? Note : A F F is deleting words in the text. I think there are fewer and fewer role models out there... at least for me. Definitely NOT, the gang of youthful singers holding guitars or mics. Movie stars... also a big NO, for me. Perhaps Oprah... or Barrack Obama? I should say my parents... but... not really. I think I can live, without role models. I do, look up to some people, as examples of those, who's lifestyle, I'd like to follow. And there are those who have overcome adversity, who I can admire, for their perseverance. No I don't think you are 'weird' (at least not in this instance  . I don't have role models per se. I don't try to be anyone else, I just try to be the best 'me'. However, I can also admire people for overcoming adversity...not for their celebrity or wealth. Terry Fox is one who immediately comes to mind.

That's a great story of not being recognized for one of the greatest blogs ever written. A real shame they truly don't know what they are missing out on. And Captain Kirk well they can keep him he never impressed my much..lol..I hope you enjoy a great start to your week.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I think I'm a good role model âĶ at least, I've been told by friends and family how much they admire my adventurous spirit and how they wish they could be like me âĶ only they never try to be adventurous themselves so âĶ. nevermind. Maybe if they knew that I'm an obscure A.FF blogger?  Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Can't say that I have any role models anymore. I am me and good bad and sometimes in between I sure don't want to be someone else. Maybe I grew out of it. As for parents being role models. Me neither and never have.. Does make me wonder how many do consider parents that way. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

Yes, I think there are role models in our lives...for the most part, I think they are the ordinary people who have influenced our lives and make us want to be better people. Role models? No actor could be mines? They just actors! I got to be the best me I can be, and be my own role model. I'm glad I didn't see that episode of Star Trek!

Well, at least you could finish your meal without interruption. Yes, I think there are role models in our lives...for the most part, I think they are the ordinary people who have influenced our lives and make us want to be better people. Then, there are the selfless "famous" folks like Mother Theresa...she is a role model, wouldn't you think? I do look more towards average people, for motivation... but with all due respect to any of them... I'll see and feel and hear what they're all about... I'll read their quotes or books ð... But, it's really about, taking their energy and putting it into something one can use. I have a tendency to focus for a while, and then move on. Mother Theresa? Yes! ð But so... many.... others... no? I see ordinary people everyday doing some unexpected things like helping an elderly couple in a parking lot with a cartful to the Home Depot clerk who went the extra mile when I needed help. Those folks are the real role models of today's society. They have not forgotten what kindness is and that counts far more then being famous. I am the "black sheep" in my family because I would not conform to the "norm" and thank goodness I made my own path. I am much wiser and nicer than most of my family and they still remain quite critical.
