Quarantine-15
Quarantine-15 And.... It's happened. The dreaded Quarantine-15 is starting to rear it's ugly head. I'll be wearing elastic waist pants before I know it. As you all know, I'm struggling with my weight anyway, so being stuck on house arrest isn't doing me any favors. The progress I had made at the gym before all this had happened was for naught as I wanted to absolutely kill myself this morning when I went to put on a pair of jeans and they were now suddenly tighter than usual... Tight enough that I decided not to wear them to work. Good God.... I wanted to just cry. I've decided to try something new tonight, beginners yoga is on my agenda. This should be interesting, I'm about as flexible as a tire iron. Wish me luck! |

Fucking is definitely the exercise of choice.... But I'll settle for yoga until I can start going to the gym again.

I'm really trying to. My birthday is in two weeks and... I'm feeling a little down about it as I'll probably still be stuck on house arrest with the quarantine.

Good Luck The only thing I would say is when your activity level changes it might be wise to consider changing the diet around some too. I know when I'm working full time I don't have any extra pounds hanging around for long. I'm on my feet all day though and am doing lots of physical work. You might find nuts are a good food to snack on lightly when you feel hungry as they are very filling and that tends to outweigh the supposed fattening effect. As long as you don't get into a habit of eating them when you aren't hungry and defeat yourself. Things like sweets and chips or other such snacks are best to throw out if you are having any concerns about extra pounds if they are a regular part of your diet. Veggies and nuts make good substitutes. Of course you want to be careful about not getting lots of salted nuts into your diet but there are lots of good options available. They're actually good for you too.

I have it on good authority that yoga is really good for mind and body......apparently some light buddhist chant music works well too. Another big advantage would be that you can just wear yoga pants to work with a big shirt over them, no one will be any the wiser.....you can stuff your face and relax!! Otherwise, size isn't everything (thankfully!!)

i, too, know the trauma. i have acquired a quarantine belly myself. however, some of my friends are literally drinking their way through the curfews, quarantine and isolation. idk which is the lesser of the two evils. although when i mentioned the belly, i got an offer to "burn some calories".

Oh you're so lucky! Your apartment complex way fancier than mine. I have to drive to get to my gym... Not very far, but the fact remains I have to drive there. It's way easier to just say "I don't feel like going anywhere" when you have to drive.

Maybe you just need to SEXercise more? LOL.... God knows I do!!. I have my race bike, that gives me the workout I need

ive watch enough Naked and afraid at the end most guys lose 20lbs so it time to strip down and eat what I find in the back yard for 14 days.

At least with yoga you don't have to worry about the gym or any of the people there! Good luck on achieving new levels of flexibility.

I'm starting to seize up after six weeks! I do exercise on my bed before I have my shower first thing in the mornings. Good luck with the yoga. I'm not that flexible either...and I do wear elasticated jogging bottoms now
