Did You See Trumps Speech

In Pennsylvania where he was encouraging his people to go around to other voting locations to check and make sure no cheating is going on?

Sounds like he wants his goon squads to go around and intimidate people. Pennsylvania is an open carry state... will his goons be standing around the polling booths with firearms? How does he expect people who are just standing around watching to know if there is cheating going on. Are they going to memorize the faces of the people from the previous polling location they were at and see if anyone shows up that looks like them?

I know Trump is a freaking moron but is this just another one of his misspoken, misunderstood idiotic statements or is he trying to intimidate voters now?

I'm glad to see that a lot of Republicans have come to their senses and are actively opposing Trump and speaking out against him. It's nice to see some people do have integrity. Not much good to be said for the leaders in the Republican party who are standing behind Trump "in support of the office he is running for"...Really so it is alright to be in support of a crazy freaking fruit case running for office or other positions in the community because you are in support of having a person of the right political affiliation in the office instead of someone sane and reasonable?

I wonder if the leaders in support of Trump even realize how they are sabotaging their own party and causes by being such ignorant asses.

So let me get this right, your totally against rebuilding our Country from Washington out, getting rid of the Lobbyist, and rebuilding our infrastructure. You want to keep sending our jobs off shore. You want to continue to raise taxes and receive things for free from the Gov. Your bashing Donald Trump like you know of him personally, Do you? Most likely not, otherwise you wouldn't have posted the things you did. Sounds to me that you are someone who listens to and reads the Liberal side of the Media or has fallen in love with Bernie and his Socialistic Views that would have never made it past the DNC because it was rigged from the beginning...that's why Hillary was given the Super Delegates to begin with, to ensure her win for the Democratic Ticket.

So, stop being a PITA and let others voice there opinions without you tearing them a new one. Thank you and have a great day

tickles4us replies on 8/15/2016 8:23 pm:
Oh excuuuuuse me, you must be one of those DPITA's that think Trump is a genius and a business wizard that "Trust me" is going to fix everything. "Trust me."

I'm all for rebuilding our infrastructure and I was against NAFTA from the beginning as I'm not a fool. I new that the reason for NAFTA was to make corporations richer. It has nothing to offer the workers of America as we were higher paid with better benefits then the workers in the third world where the jobs all went to. However I also understand globalization and the way it works. When you move jobs to other countries to save labor costs it works for a while, until those workers go through the same process the American work force went through and start to strike and demand better wages, safer working conditions and benefits then when you add the additional cost of shipping the goods to the markets the benefits start to evaporate. However that process takes a while just as it did here in the States as you can count on the corporations using the same labor/union busting tricks and other methods to keep their cost as low as possible and their profit as high as possible. Globalization could even out the wealth around the world but at what cost... when you make people wealthier by providing jobs in a third world country you make someone else poorer because they no longer have their job in the country that originally had those jobs. I've heard the bullshit lines that the politicians and such fools spout about the country need to move toward service industries as the manufacturing jobs are gone or going. Well that doesn't work so well in a country the size of the United States. Just how many jobs can you come up with in the service industry? But that isn't all by any means you have the stock market demands for profitability which result in people losing their jobs as companies buy each other up and conglomerate which means monopolize as the parent companies get bigger and bigger and more and more powerful. People lose jobs so the profit can be tweaked a bit thereby improving the stock value. The stock market has exploded because the Republicans cut the capital gains tax to lower then the income tax rate. The new GOD of America is the stock market. There are many worshipers, you've seen the gurus on Wall Street that played their crooked games and brought about the destruction of the world economy. But hey... it was in the name of profit so what if thousands lost their homes and jobs... not because they were flippers playing with property values but because they were working in any of the industries/businesses that took a hit when the economy went into panic mode. I could go on but I have better things to do... Just one last thing... who do you think profited from all the above? The working class people or the wealthy that make their income from the stock market and their businesses and corporations?

The following is quoted from the web site citizen.org/nafta
Start Quote.
"The North American Free Trade Agreement took effect on January 1, 1994.

NAFTA opponents – including labor, environmental, consumer and religious groups – argued that NAFTA would launch a race-to-the-bottom in wages, destroy hundreds of thousands of good U.S. jobs, undermine democratic control of domestic policy-making and threaten health, environmental and food safety standards.

NAFTA promoters – including many of the world's largest corporations – promised it would create hundreds of thousands of new high-wage U.S. jobs, raise living standards in the U.S., Mexico and Canada, improve environmental conditions and transform Mexico from a poor developing country into a booming new market for U.S. exports.

Why such divergent views? NAFTA was a radical experiment – never before had a merger of three nations with such radically different levels of development been attempted. Plus, until NAFTA, "trade" agreements only dealt with cutting tariffs and lifting quotas to set the terms of trade in goods between countries. But NAFTA contained 900 pages of one-size-fits-all rules to which each nation was required to conform all of its domestic laws – regardless of whether voters and their democratically-elected representatives had previously rejected the very same policies in Congress, state legislatures or city councils. hide

NAFTA requires limits on the safety and inspection of meat sold in our grocery stores; new patent rules that raised medicine prices; constraints on your local government's ability to zone against sprawl or toxic industries; and elimination of preferences for spending your tax dollars on U.S.-made products or locally-grown food. In fact, calling NAFTA a "trade" agreement is misleading, NAFTA is really an investment agreement. Its core provisions grant foreign investors a remarkable set of new rights and privileges that promote relocation abroad of factories and jobs and the privatization and deregulation of essential services, such as water, energy and health care.

Remarkably, many of NAFTA's most passionate boosters in Congress and among economists never read the agreement. They made their pie-in-the-sky promises of NAFTA benefits based on trade theory and ideological prejudice for anything with the term "free trade" attached to it.

Now, twenty years later, the time for conjecture and promises is over: the data are in and they clearly show the damage NAFTA has wrought for millions of people in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Thankfully, the failed NAFTA model – a watered down version of which is also contained in the World Trade Organization (WT – is merely one among many options.

Throughout the world, people suffering with the consequences of this disastrous experiment are organizing to demand the better world we know is possible – but we face a race against time. The same interests who got us into NAFTA are pushing to expand it to include 31 more countries in Central and South America through the proposed Central American Free Trade Agreement (CAFTA) Peru was added in 2007; and there are NAFTA expansions with Panama and Colombia as well. The largest NAFTA expansion to date, the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) finished negotiations in October 2015. In early November 2015, after seven years of close-door negotiations with the public, press and policymakers locked out, the final TPP text was released. In chapter after chapter, the final text is worse than expected, with the demands of the 500 official U.S. trade advisers representing corporate interests satisfied to the detriment of the public interest. The text reveals that the pact replicates many of the most controversial terms of past pacts that promote job offshoring and push down U.S. wages."
End Quote.

The only candidate that wanted to get the lobbyist out of Washington and get the Government straightened out was Bernie. Trump says one thing one minute then denies he said it the next while he is taking the opposite position. Trump is the one whom he should be calling out as lying crooked Trump if he was telling the truth. But the truth only passes Trumps lips by accident on occasion. I've done my home work on Trump which is something you should have done before you decided to blindly follow him on his word.

I suppose that you are one of those people that think you can give everyone a tax break especially, the wealthy as they always get the biggest break when ever a Republican is in office, and still pay down the national debt and keep the government running. Did you pass your math class in school?

I agree that the system was not working in favor for Bernie. There are some voting and primary rules/laws that need to change. People should be able to go in and vote for whatever candidate they want to support regardless of their past political choices/registration status. If you have been reading my blog posts since the election process started you would see I've made several posts on those issues. Independent voters should not be locked out of the Democratic or Republican primary process.

The word for the Republican party elite is chickenshit. They failed to stop him- didn't even make much effort- and now they're just hanging on to try save their own skins. I'm done arguing with Trump supporters and I'm done arguing with people who try to claim Hillary is just as bad as Trump. We are now paying the price for our failed education system, for failing to invest in our children. They're now old enough to vote but they're too dumb for any kind of critical thinking.

If this goes on it is pretty much a done deal that Clinton will win since there is no other real choice. But what we should be worried about is the next election. Both parties need to do some soul searching and try to find better candidates to run next time. And what I would really like to see is a third party start to be able to give the other two some real competition. But as they say, things are never so bad that they can't get worse.

Please don't let me be misunderstood.

tickles4us replies on 8/13/2016 12:55 pm:
It could be a good thing to have a third party if it doesn't just detract from the sensible candidate getting elected in favor of a hothead because of the vote split.

What would be better might be to have the parties control over the nomination process abolished. Lets have an elimination process where we have the people running get voted on to continue or to drop out based on the vote count they get in the primary process which would have to be modified somehow. The process would go until there were just two to decide between.

In response to unfounded claims by Fox News and Trump, a Philadelphia voting inspector responded:

"I'm an inspector of elections for a Philly voting division. Independent but was a Republican as recently as June," he wrote in a series of tweets. "People like me sign off on election results in every division in Philly. We take job seriously: certifying the accurate will of people. Claim that 59 divisions in Philadelphia engaged in electoral fraud in 2012 because no votes for Romney is absurd & personally insulting." Godfrey goes on to explain the logistics of how votes in the city were tallied and the numerous ways in which they are protected from tampering. What's more, he notes that there was a separate effort to identify any Mitt Romney voters in the heavily black precincts where Romney got skunked. None were found.

@tickles4us

Tried to reply...but not working.

Just for info. "V for vendetta" is actually a reference to what the Democrats and supporters reference all the time. And especially during the pre administration time frame.

But I noticed you didn't say a word a about the 'Boot on the Neck' by a top government employee. And that position. The reason that is important is the mentality of what is said. And for any administration that comes after them. Remember that each administration keeps pushing this mentality more and more. Hence setting up the next person to abuse it even more. - It doesn't matter which side we are on. Making the assumption that sooner or later a person will get into office that will use all the previous abuses to gain more power and control over you. Seems to be what 'we' should be concerned with.

And from real word experience. We know for fact that one of them did not follow the laws, the regulations that are in place. So explain why the people should? - Because that person can use Gv and violence if you don't?

--

But your statement was the same. If you can't see there has been previous issues with voter fraud from all sides. And physical persons in position of intermediate at polls. Then you didn't read your own post.

Anyway..even though many may not seen this as being nice. I was really trying to keep and coming out with all kinds of stuff for examples. And of course. This site is not designed for such things. But some have been saving reference and things for decades. Knowing such references would be needed.

I'm just saying. A lot of people are getting tired of the PC working in one direction. And not equal to all. -- So if you are really for equality and justice. Then you will/would be against 'ALL' who say such things. Not just one party affiliation. But obviously to the ...the MLK days are no more. I will leave it at that.

tickles4us replies on 8/13/2016 12:44 pm:
I don't know as I heard anything about "V for Vendetta" before but I would say if the Democrats were using it in anyway it was likely in response to the movie and comic that is about how the Republicans had taken over the government and was oppressing the people as they tend to do. It would likely have been in protest against tyranny and oppression most likely. But I'm just hypothesizing as I didn't see or hear about this that I recall. I would say it would be an offensive way of making a statement but then again that's the way people tend to do things.

As to the reference to "Boot on the Neck, by a top government employee. I agree that words and tone do make a difference and should be appropriate for the situation at hand. Keeping hot heads from spouting off would be a good thing. Certainly I'm against the office of the president abusing its power by whomever maybe sitting there at anytime.

I seriously think you need a lesson in demographics if you really can't understand why Romney didn't get any votes in certain areas of Philly. The man was the "inelegantly stated" one and you think that would earn him votes?

Yes I do agree that the tone of politicians speech and behavior is important and should be reasonable and sensible. I think the media doesn't help with this issue as they like to have their headlines and sometimes so do the politicians.

Unfortunately a lot of what you said here would require me to be able to read you mind to decipher it, so I have chosen to disregard nonsensical or vague statements.

What is interesting in all this. Most people say they should learn to accept people for who they are and express themselves. Yet for some reason people still keep expecting all the politicians to change to their specific way of doing things.

Seems people say they would like direct politicians. But then want to be treated as if they are children. And are unable to handle the true.

The truth is. 'People obviously can't handle the truth or directness. And unable toe separate tactlessness in their eyes. For 'Sweet Nothings' which really do and say the very same thing.

What you should look for is the one that uses PC to make you self censor to the point you only agree out fear. Remember that ever time you make a new class pf people or protection. Then you are in fact discriminating. Also remember that many people love to force others to be altruistic. So they can feel good about themselves. And taking a cut out of the proceeds.

There is an old cartoon I say one time. Can't remember or find the source to give credit. But I will try to describe it.

The cartoon is about laws, regulations, and so on.

Picture this. We have someone trying to catch some wild hogs. So they put some corn and feed out in a field. As time goes on; one, two to many wild hogs show up and start eating.

So as time goes on...the farmer puts one set of fences on one side. At first, the hogs are little afraid..cautious...but they eventually start go back and feeding.

Then as time goes on...the farmer puts up another fence. And later another fence to another side. Each time. The hogs complained, was a little afraid. But they came back.

So...we have 3 fence sides up...

And finally, the farmer put up the last remaining fence. So all sides are boxed in. And 'Puff'...we have 'Domesticated Hogs'.

--

So..you ask what does this have to do with anything. Well 'Grass Hopper'.

Like many laws/regs you think are there to help you. Like a fence. They are boxing you in and demonstrating people like 'Cattle'. Unfortunately, people will give up their freedom and liberties for safety and security. And of course...more feed. Which of course,..the feed comes from the labor, slavery and servitude of others.

So..the question is. Which one of the options available. Says they will put more fences up, more feed out to get addicted too. And in the process; puts more of man kind into forced servitude? That servitude being for the State, a political person, or for others without transparency and accountability.

Remember what history as taught us. There is always another 'New Favor of Month',.....just around the corner. So....what position will you be in the new picking order? If any...at all.

tickles4us replies on 8/13/2016 11:41 am:
Of course people want politicians to be on the same side of issues that are important to them. They also expect honesty from the politicians but know that they often lie.

The whole process has been corrupted by the politicians and their campaign managers. People can handle the truth but the politicians are afraid to tell them the truth and continue to lie and deceive. People in general tend to be to issue oriented and fail to look at the whole picture. Politics when done properly is about compromise and that is where the parties and the politicians are failing the people.

PC is what keeps people civil and decent to ignore it is to go back to the pre-civil rights error (yes I misspelled that, on purpose). Idiots like Trump and people who are so against PC are either insensitive or obnoxious. It's one thing to complain about it jokingly but quite another to say that it should be ended... in favor of what exactly...

So are you a pig or a farmer or something else? Laws and regulations are to keep the pigs from getting away with the abuse and enslavement of the working people to make the God almighty profit that they worship so blindly and selfishly. Laws and regulations are there to keep things fair for everyone so that you don't have the prejudiced abusive individuals and corporations taking advantage of the people and the environment. You would like to go back to no regulations so that corporations can have monopolies and pour their waste chemicals out where ever they so choose and treat employees like cattle or worse. You want unregulated destruction of the environment to provide the almighty profit for the pigs of industry at the expense of the world and all the future inhabitants because you don't care about the future you just want to take care of yourself and to hell with your descendants or anyone else's. I think it is best that the pigs are fenced in and controlled.

To each his own opinion. But lets not forget the past. So what is different than the Panther issue at the voting building in the very same State (or did you forget that?). Could it be based on that. And by the way...that is said by different people in different way all the time. I really don't like the options we have. But to say what you said. While not remembering the others in the past for both sides isn't being realistic.

By the way... do a search for the title heading "In 59 Philadelphia voting divisions, Mitt Romney got zero votes. at Philly.c*m-updated 15 Nov 15." - Now tell all of us that absolutely not 1, not 'one' person even by accident, or by machine error 'DIDN'T' vote once for Romney out of 59 divisions.

By the way...I'm independent and a Divergent. Hence I have no problem using the best tool for the job, or the best idea from where ever it comes from. Or to call whatever side for illogical things. With out be so blind sided, or becoming a lemming to any one side.

Also..remember when a certain man running for office said to "Get into their face"? Or "Boot on Neck" of certain people/citizens during the oil spill (remember a business or other identity is real live people. And shows the mentality of their position). Funny how soon people forget or blank out, or selective memory when they get to wrapped up in something.

At this point, Trump is saying nothing more than that which has been said before by many others on all sides in the past. The only difference is..he didn't serve you 'Poo' and give it to you served up with a smile and call it 'Cake'.

And generally we generalize on the site about such issues. But if we are going to get into the dirt. Then we should be discussing the good, bad and ugly concerning all of them.

Also remember which side is calling your sex, your gender..the 'Privileged Class'. And many, any others. But don't worry...didn't you hear. We are all children, and all will be taken care of. If you only give your soul and worship the right politician.

Remember..you wrote the post. So the test is here. Will this post remain, or be deleted. Or will I be blocked? Or should we put up warning saying only people who agree with what I say can only post. Since the country seems to be heading more regressive and into segregation and class system than before. By gender, by sex, by color, by age, by identity, by income, by Gv, by civilian, and so on.

At this point, people don't know which 'Favor of the Month' is the preferred preference. And people just retreat to their on little worlds and self made prisons. Either way...just like many things. You think you have a option. You only have the option they give/gave you/us. The real thing you are voting on is;.... 'how fast' the time line goes.

LOL...anyway. For a little prospective. Look for ..on YT.

"V For Vendetta "Why they need us"

And since November is coming up on us soon. Maybe this would be the only time to have a little light hard'd humor...or reflection. (I like to use movies and such as metaphors).

And watch the "v for vendetta speech" or "V for Vendetta: The Revolutionary Speech (HD)" on YT,..or the movie itself.

Remember, remember...the '8th' of November...

Anyway...have a good weekend everyone.

Obviously you are delusional to make this statement given your apparent devotion.

I don't live my life according to movies fortunately, I live in the real world.

One last quote for old times sake...
"Remember, remember...the '8th' of November"
End quote.

I'm not really sure why you put this in here about the 8th of Nov, is it a reference to the song? If so you should know that it really doesn't speak well on Trumps behalf as he is likely to get the United States involved in a war just as pointless as that one was and he would be just as stupid and bullheaded as LBJ was.

Have you served your country in the military?

I'm an independent and I have voted for more Republicans than democrats over the years that I've been of voting age and there is only one vote that I regret, it was for that idiot moron G.W.Bush.

I try to tune out anything and everything that Trump says. It's mostly just one dumb thing after another and the media repeats it. His campaign might just implode, but I doubt it. .. He is shaking up the GOP. The party could also implode or it might reshape itself.

I will say this: I saw Bernie supporters at the Democratic caucus that were running around saying the same thing. Keep an eye out. Hillary will bring out the fraudsters. .. Bernie won the caucus here. (By a landslide in my district.) I thought those people were paranoid rabble rousers.

I live in NY and I don't understand why if ppl are still being deported, why are illegal aliens allow to receive Medicaid and food stamps for the children they are continuing to conceive. It sends cross signals to others to continue to come through the boarders, I had hoped someone would do something about it. I like Hilary, but a president of the U.S. with all the issues that need to be dealt with must have a strong hand, cant have a president with a week heart or too sympathetic. One thing that Trump said that had made me look his way was that, the U.S. must start looking at its citizens and legal residents before helping those that are coming through illegally or in other countries. However a person running for president cant be taking this as a personal vendetta. I believe in following the rules, and if a person breaks them they would be punished, but instead it seems some are kicked out and others granted with public housing and welfare, while so many citizens wait on line unaware that illegal aliens get VIP.

He just wants to blame someone and say this will fix it or actually "I will fix it, just trust me" I hope you have sense enough to see through Trumps bluster to see where he stands which is nowhere as he is too busy jumping around and changing his mind all the time to try and get everyone to like him. To say the least he is unstable.
