++ TV Dinner?
++ TV Dinner? I can remember the first TV Dinners. What an exciting idea and treat when we had them. It was so amazing and always had a desert ! Over the years they have of course evolved. I eat fewer and fewer of them, they have taken a very artificial taste to me. Even my Godsons avoid them, saying there is just not a type that they like. Have you ever had a TV dinner? Did you enjoy them as a ? Do have a type that you would serve today? |

Yes remember them well. I was a fan of the Swanson Fried Chicken. Anything else was a disappointment.

I admit, that I loved them as a kid. I seldom serve them now. But they can be fun at times

These have come a long way since the 1950s. After you buy the TV Dinner preheat the oven cook the dinner for 45 minutes your gas or electric bill each month would be staggering

I still eat them on occasion. I enjoy the turkey ones and the rib ones. Happy Monday. "Sweet, steamy, sensuous kisses light the bright fires of passionate lust within us." scott6250

Happy TV Dinner Day, I enjoy them occasionally but honestly they just don't make them like they used to, they are more like snacks for the most part..

i used to have them once every couple of years, but you can now buy your own containers and make your own TV dinner, with substantially larger proportions. I have used them to make my own "frozen turkey dinners", with each part of the meal in its own compartment. It's so nice to have a turkey dinner, with the extras, without all the fuss of actually cooking it all - at any time of the year. When I was growing up, they would be a special treat when we had a babysitter. I always loved them. My favorites were the turkey dinner or the salisbury steak. Great memories. I don't buy them now. "Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is relax." – Mark Black
