Falling out of love

I had a partner for various activities including sex until recently. She decided it was not worthwhile for her anymore! There was a health problem as well as her menopause was causing problems.

I try not feel rejected, despite the fact that I am rejected. In this case it really is her and not me.

Maybe it is a male and female thing. Most men I know do not willingly give sex. But I know a number of women who just decided sex is more trouble than it is worth!

Reminds me of the punchline of an old joke: Enough is enough. Such is life.

 are you saying she thought sex was too much trouble, and you thought friendship was too much trouble .
naaaaa i find it 87% impossible to swallow that sex alone broke up a relationship!

 Actually I think the problem is that my former lover wanted to marry her sex partner, and I have a wife. Bigamy or polygamy is not legal in the U.S.

Some women see coitus as a chore not worth their effort without the ring.

We are still friends without the benefits of a sex life. So I seek alternative sources of sexual partnership.

I am not so foolish as to blame myself for her world view. I helped my ex sex partner in many ways and still help her. Rejection is never a positive but that is the norm in our fallible world.
