Do You Dabble?
Do You Dabble? As usual while looking for something else found a newspaper column I couldn't help but share. I don't think too many reading this have a negative outlook on the subject. I certainly don't. Masturbation, a term that holds more negative stigma than sex itself. Instead of recognizing that everyone dabbles in masturbation, it is feared and looked upon with disgust. People ignore the benefits of exploring the world of masturbation and letting themselves submit to their hormones. However, studies show undeniable health benefits of self-pleasure that should be recognized. In a national study, 95 percent of men and 89 percent of women said that they performed masturbation. There could be a “masturbator” sitting right next to you! The psychological benefits are reason enough to start pleasuring yourself if you have yet to do so. Performing the act of masturbation regularly has been shown to relieve depression and even increase self-esteem. This brings a whole new light to “You have to love yourself before anyone else will love you.” Being aroused increases the levels of dopamine and epinephrine, both hormones that improve mood. Taking the time to masturbate can also relieve stress, as it forces you to create time to focus on yourself and reaching climax sends a wave of relaxation through your body. Frequent masturbation helps to improve one's sex-life, as it increases sexual health and confidence in the bedroom. If the psychological benefits are not convincing enough, here are a few physical benefits that should be taken into account: There are specific health benefits for women who masturbate: • Masturbating during your menstrual cycle has been shown to help alleviate the pain from cramping • It helps prevent cervical infections and eases urinary tract infections • Having Orgasms frequently increases pelvic strength which increases sexual satisfaction Mutual benefits of masturbation in men and women: • Improves cardiovascular health • Lowers the risk of type-2 diabetes • Masturbation can improve your sex life with your partner • Lowers blood pressure • Helps fight off insomnia • Stimulates your immune system Benefits of masturbation for men: • Lowers the risk of prostate cancer (especially in your 50's) • Masturbation helps fight premature ejaculation Now, for a bit of fun information: mutual masturbation has it's own benefits for a couple. Studies say that it may be even more intimate than sexual intercourse. When you allow your partner to watch you masturbate you are giving them a treasure map to the things that please you and the type of touches that drive you wild. Giving them this map to pleasing you sexually can lead to the most intense sexual intercourse you've ever experienced. Mutual masturbation isn't just restricted to only using your hands, there are now many toys to enhance this experience. Different sensations, for instance vibrations or hot and cold objects, stimulate your senses in various ways that could bring you to orgasm as quickly as your hands. Previous posts on the topic Apparently monogamy's not for me......Masturbation Don't You Just Love It And this led me to the purchase of my favorite...which is currently plugged in by my bed to be available at a moments notice And they thanked me She writes with a grin |

I know I need to just do it myself more often. I don't know why I think of it as a chore. I just hate doing it myself all alone.

I have to say, interesting article in a couple of areas. First, I enjoy masturbation, and mutual masturbation can be fun as well. One can learn allot about pleasing a partner from watching them please themselves like the studies have shown. And allowing a person to watch you in that intimate moment takes a good amount of trust which enhances the sexual experience. The more you learn about your partner the more you earn in return so to speak. And who is paying for these studies? AH YES OUR TAXES. LOL Gotta love it, the Feds pay people to play with themselves.

95% of men admitted to masturbation, 5% lied when answering the question.

I really enjoy watching my partner masturbate. It does show me what they enjoy and I try and duplicate it. It also shows a sense of trust between us. It is a wonderful form of foreplay. That said, I would love to have the opportunity to watch you one of these days....
